Other companies offer a Full Metal Jacketed Bullet. These bullets still
have lead exposed at their base. When fired, there is erosion from the base of the bullet
causing lead particles to go airborne.Our bullets have complete copper jackets and no
exposed lead. This is a very important concern to reduce the lead contamination to our
environment. We also offer lead free primers. In combination with our complete metal
jacketed bullets, our cartridges are totally lead free.
Harrington Ammunition uses the same type of machines as the major ammunition
manufacturers. We operate the machines and keep a watchful eye on the ammunition produced.
Each lot of ammunition is tested for velocity and accuracy throughout the production
process.
All ammunition manufactured by Harrington Ammunition is made to the highest industry
standards and the velocity is equal to the top manufacturers’ duty ammunition. We at
Harrington Ammunition feel this is a must so that point of aim and recoil are the same as
if using duty ammunition.

If you've noticed, our products page has changed. We've elminated lead ammunition
from our product line. We've done this for a few reasons. Airborne lead is a
concern of ours, as well as environmental issues. However, our main concern is that
we were unable to produce the velocities with lead ammunition that are needed for
performance that is consistant with factory new ammunition.
