Power restored to thousands impacted by equipment failure in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS –

Colorado Springs Utilities has corrected an equipment failure that left nearly 4,000 homes and businesses without power Friday morning.

The outage is affected customers along Constitution between Academy and Powers.

Service was expected to be restored by 1:00 p.m. CS Utilities had the problem solved by 12:35.
